The 20-hour class schedule is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the first two days, 9 a.m. to 1:00 on the last day. Hour lunch breaks, as well breakfasts and dinners will be catered and will be an additional fee. Our last group enjoyed gourmet meals for $120 including a lobster dinner! We offer the lobster dinner party on the second night. The cost of food is shared and is not for profit. Our caterer will contact you in advance for your food needs. You can opt out of this food plan, but there are no restaurants near us and we do not share kitchen space. We have found that eating together is a great way to get to know each other and build lasting, healing relationships.
We will be covering a lot of material so try to be well rested and prepared to focus and have fun when you arrive! You will want to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes for the classroom portion. We recommend you bring at least 2 bathing suits (preferably 2 piece suits for women and speedos for men) and 2 towels. We can provide towels if that is a hardship. Plan on no makeup or oils or lotions on your body. You will be required to take a soap shower before entering the pool (state law).
The cost of each class is $500, including a text book. Payment is due in full 30 days prior to the first day of class. Deposits of $100 can hold a space in class, full payment due 30 days prior to the start of class. Class size is limited to 6 students. We accept cash, personal checks or debit and all credit cards except American Express. Please call 207-737-2478 if you have any questions.
There are 3 bedrooms available in our beautiful log home for rent: $150.00 per night for a second-floor suite with private half bath; $130 for first floor, queen bed, shared full bath with Victorian claw-foot bathtub; $100 for first floor twin bed, sharing full bath with queen bedroom. Also, a Victorian mansion in Richmond is available for a second-floor, queen bedroom occupancy. It is historic, gorgeous and all arrangements will be handled by the owners, Joanne and Kip Bacon. Camping in our pop up tent is also a possibility.
Some things to know:
We have an outside clothes line and a washer and dryer is available.
Please bring any special beauty products, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc. you need. We provide organic body wash in the showers.
Your ears will get wet and maybe full of water. We do provide ear plugs, but sensitive ears may benefit from ear drops to dry out the water. Ear drying drops are available at most drug stores. I will also provide nose plugs, and all the floats needed for learning and practicing.
I will have a course feedback form for you all to fill out. I know this will be of great value to me. As my “teachers” I want to give you my very best and I appreciate patience, kindness, compassion and the willingness to let go of perfection in advance. Remember expectations reduce joy! Also, this will help us get CEUs for this class in the near future.
Looking forward to this sharing and teaching experience with excitement and joy in my heart!
